Fav food of the week shoutout. . . .

Well last week I highlighted a fav of my s/i/l Joyce. Tonight at Jake's birthday party I thought I would throw out another fav dip of mine since we just did the spinach dip last week. So, I introduced a house-full of Baptists' to Mississippi Sin Dip! It may be sinful but boy is it good! If you're into a low-fat diet please don't read any further because this dip is definitely not for you!

First of all here's the ingredients: 1 lb roll of sausage, 2 pkgs of cream cheese, 1 8oz. sour cream, 1 8oz. pkg of shredded cheddar cheese, 1 sm can of green chiles(optional), 1 loaf of french or round bread.

Hollow out the bread and break apart the reserve for dipping later! Cook and crumble sausage and drain. In large bowl combine all ingredients and mix well. Pour mixture into hollowed out bread and completely cover in aluminum foil. Place on baking sheet into preheated oven at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake additional 10-15 min to brown the top.

Now, when I make this I also get a second loaf of bread because you never have enough! And don't worry about Joyce not getting her spinach dip tonight, I think I've introduced her to another future favorite! Hmmm, I guess now I'll be flipping a coin at Damien's party in October as to which one I'll be making!
