Question of the week. . . .

Well it seems pumpkin won hands down as everyone's preference for pie. I personally like apple, or cherry is good, but coconut cream is so refreshing. . . . . hmm I guess I'd have to vote for all of the above!

This week I thought I would ask an even tougher question. It seems that along with desserts the choice of side dishes is a pretty big decision as well. I thought I would throw stuffing into the mix. Now I know a lot depends upon what part of the country you live in or just what you have been used to eating most of your life. Personally growing up in a family where my Dad was from Pennsylvania and my Mother was from North Carolina it was pretty much split down the middle on side dishes. My Mother would make cornbread dressing but my Father would insist on candied yams northern style instead of the traditional southern recipe of sweet potato casserole. So, which do you prefer dressing or stuffing?

Here we call it dressing and stuffing.

Ours is made with cornbread and a few biscuits thrown in with celery, eggs and all that other stuff.

Ok, I'm hungry now! Can't wait for Thanksgiving.
